Stop-and-Go ist ein Spielzug bei der man ein Anspiel oder Raise eines Gegners nur callt, in der nächsten Setzrunde aber out of position selbst anspielt (oft all in).
Es wird vor allem von Shortstacks preflop und auf Flops in Turnieren gespielt, klassisch vom Small Blind, der preflop nur completet und dann pusht.
